The Importance of SEO for Realtors

carlsbad-realtor

Real estate is all about exposure and there is no better way of getting exposure online than with a website. Many realtors have paid big bucks to have fancy websites online, but few understand the importance of SEO for realtors to get their sites top rankings on the most popular search engine results. Many have not even heard of the term SEO, because search engines are not part of their business, well, not directly. Real estate professionals know the hottest buys on the market and know everything about the cities the homes are in. Realtors have enough on their plate without worrying about Search Engine Optimization, too. This is why many of the top realtors choose companies they can trust to assist them with their SEO needs. They should look for a company that not only understands the proper techniques for SEO, but also has some knowledge of how the real estate business works. This will ensure that they are optimizing your site for the most relevant terms to you and your business. This will translate into the most targeted and highest quality leads for your real estate business. As realtors know, going through leads can be a time consuming (more…)

How to Use OpenSiteExplorer in a Successful Marketing Campaign

OSE

“ Opensiteexplorer.com (OSE) is the tool I could not work without!” When doing research in a niche market,  I use the tool in three main ways: 1. Determining how difficult a niche is, 2. determining if a site is truly a competitor, and 3. to determine if a site is a quality site or not!   #1 Determine difficulty to overtake a niche One of the primary uses of OSE for me is as a tool to compare my site with my top 4 competitors to determine how difficult it will be to overtake a niche. Here is how to use it: Google your keyword and find the top 4 competitors. Compare your site with top 4 competitors in OSE Check the Domain Authority of your site and the top 4 competitors If your sites domain authority is a 30 and your competitors have a domain authority of 60 or higher, then you can determine that it is going to take quite a few links to get to the number one spot. If your sites domain authority is a 55 and your competitors have domain authorities between 40 and 60, then you can determine that it will be an easier path to the (more…)

Facebook Marketing Tactics for Your Small Business

Let’s just take a look at the prospective of Facebook for an organization, and review the numerous options that company owners have for them to be successful with Facebook advertising. For a business enterprise, you need to produce a Fan Page or Your Page. Contemplate using a title that is memorable, simply because you won’t be capable of changing it later. It’s preferable to reflect your organization and use a company name. Not a funny character or other enterprise persona that no one can relate to. Individuals will be looking for your organization on Facebook, so make it effortless for them to locate you. Once you get 25 fans, you are able to set up a username which makes accessing your profile a whole lot simpler. Be sure you apply the username to your Facebook Page-not your individual profile, and make sure you use something memorable that folks can find by plugging in the URL. I have a hard time believing that Facebook will address errors like these with out an intellectual property complaint. You can upload a profile picture (200 by 600 pixels maximum, though you can find some reports that 180 by 540 pixels might function instead) and (more…)

Article Marketing Strategy for 2010

Recently here at StartRankingNow we have been running a test to see what exactly are the best article directories to submit articles to.  There are many sites that will provide a list of the top 10 article directories to submit articles to based on Page Rank, but just because a site has a PR of 4 on their home page, does not mean that it will be valuable or profitable for you to submit your articles there.  As we literally submit hundreds of articles per month to the article directories, we have run a test to find out which article directories get indexed by Google the fastest without having to do any external link building.  What we did: We submitted 100 articles to each of the article directories over a 3 month period.  Within 30 days of submitting the articles and the articles being published, we checked all of the submissions to determine  if the urls generated by the article submissions were indexed in Google.  We gathered the data and determined what percentage of the urls were indexed. Here are the results: Ezinearticles.com 100% Buzzle.com 100% Goarticles.com 89% Articlebase.com 91% A1articles.com 100% Articleblast.com 90%  Articlefeeder.com 96% Articlerich.com 83% Thefreelibrary.com 89% (more…)

Make Your Website an Attractive Business Tool

Good corporate website design is all about avoiding customer pain points. Stay away from irritants like music (unless you’re in that business), Java pop-ups and redirects to other pages.
