Have you ever wondered why some businesses seem so successful when using social media and others don’t?
The root of the problem comes to the very particular strategy they’re using to connect with their market.
Let me explain; when you create a social media strategy you must identify what you’re expecting from it, be sales, be brand acknowledgment or be happier customers.
This is especially useful if you’re starting on the internet since most entrepreneurs tend to see social networks just as TV or newspapers: “another place to send promotions.” However, social media is more than that, it is a place where you can help people to really love your business and engage with your brand.
Think about this; when you are with your friends and the topic of movies pops up, what is the movie that you recommend? The one that had more promotions or the one that you felt engaged with?
I personally recommend the ones that touched me on some way.
Same happens with social networks, if you start promoting, and just promoting, everyone will hide your post but when you start engaging with people, solving their problems and helping them to get what they expect (and even more) your brand will become highly recommended.
That’s how the bad, good and excellent strategies differ from each other.
Now, go to your sites and make your customers feel special and engaged with your brand. I can guarantee that you’ll get better responses on the middle and long term.
