Job Description

Job is for the position of Senior Editor for all article writers.

Responsibilities will include recruiting and training new writers. Must hire, train, and retain 4 new writers qualified to write high level 1000 word articles per month. Must receive and review all articles and check for spelling, grammar, format, and word count. Upload all articles to correct projects and make sure that all articles are approved. Manage article trackers of all writers and provide info to Project Manager twice a month so payments can be issued. If articles are rejected, must rewrite or have rewritten at own expense as the editor is responsible for quality control and preventing articles that don’t meet minimum quality standards to ever reach web assistants for uploading.

Requirements: Excellent level of English. Extremely organized, reliable, and able to work 40 hours minimum per week.

Salary is 32,000php per month plus 4000php hiring bonus for each qualified writer hired in a month. Note this is a salary position not an hourly position.
Potential monthly salary would be 48,000php.

Bonus will be amortized over six months. So for example, if on month one you hire 4 people, month two 4 people, month three 4 people, your salary would look like this:

Month 1: 32,000php 0 Hires
Month 2: 34,667php 4 Hires
Month 3: 37,334php 8 Hires

At approx Month 7 you will have 20 hires and make 48,000php. At that point, salary will maintain at 48,000php if your staff of 20 hires maintains at 20.

Job is not to just hire but to manage the entire process of hiring, training, supervising, submitting articles, checking articles for grammar and spelling, providing accounting info to the Project Manager, upload projects to client’s projects, etc.

Excellent English is required.

Experience

• 1 Year minimum experience working in a related field.
• College Degree in related field.
• Excellent command of English language in grammar and spelling.
• Ability to analyze the difference between excellent writing and so so writing. Ability to understand and develop a team of writers with a wide selection of writing skills such as press releases, one page sales letters, email campaigns, etc.
